Union for Students - good to know
Even as a student it is not a bad idea to be vigilant and take care of one’s rights in the world of work, where the same rules of play have a bearing on students and other people alike. Labour law and agreements on the terms and conditions of work all need to be observed in any form of employment.
The aim of the Union for Students is to ensure that students in higher education are aware of the terms and conditions of employment, of the rules of the game, and of the significance of the trade unions. Those trade unions who are behind the Union for Students are offering a student membership in their union. This avails the student of the services and benefits which the union provides, and additionally, current information on the sector and profession of the student’s field of study.
